Expanded Map Mod is currently WIP.

This means that it's currently being worked on, and will be finished later.

WIP

Expanded Map Mod is a setting that you choose at the beginning of the game when creating a new save file. This setting basically makes each biome the size of the entire range, it adds new areas with these biomes, it adds one ranch per biome, and it adds the ability to play with the world in ways that you would not normally be able to do.

Map Effects[]

Every biome becomes the size of the entire range. The original areas are left in, they are just parts of the areas.

Moved Areas[]

Some of the islands have to be moved so that they fit on the map. These areas include:

  • Ash Isle
    • Moved because it's in the spot where part of the Ancient Ruins biome will be
    • It is now to the southeast of the Indigo Quarry
    • It also marks the start of a new biome
  • Moustache Island
    • Moved because it's where a new biome would be, and it's too far away from the Moss Blanket
    • It is now somewhere in the middle of the Moss Blanket, in the middle of a sea

Minor Edits[]

  • To avoid confusion or inception between areas, the Slime Sea is now called the Slime Ocean.

New Ranches (WIP)[]

Because of the map size and necessity to travel through all the areas, you have multiple ranch locations, one in each biome.

New Biomes[]

Granite Bay[]

This is basically a rendition of the Slime Sea, but as an entire biome. It is to the west of the map, and starts where those islands to the Moss Blanket are. Despite being called a bay, it's actual position is wedged between the Dry Reef and Moss Blanket. It mostly consists of islands. Some of them have sand beaches, and a lot of them have freshwater lakes. The slimes found here vary depending on the island.

Charred Isles[]

This is the other archipelago, to the east of the Indigo Quarry. It is hotter and more volcanic, with fire slimes and most indigo quarry slimes here. Volcanos are a very real natural disaster.

Stardust Hills[]

Not exactly a new biome, in that it's an extension of the Ancient Ruins. That biome has now been demoted to possibly the largest sub-area in the entire map, probably taking up one fourth of the biome. There are many traces of the ruins in this biome.

Feral Forest[]

A place that you have to use a teleporter to access, and the teleporters are rather glitchy, randomly turning on and off and sometimes teleporting you to the wrong spot. The area is exactly like The Wilds, except it's far away from that location. Except, when he came here, Ogden has made an amazing discovery... While the ancient version in The Wilds is long-extinct, there is a modern counterpart to the saber slime that still exists!

Quests (WIP)[]

This map has quests for you to do, most of them involve helping the world. That is the reason why you have multiple ranches, it's so you can easily deal with those quests.
