Ice Slimes are carnivorous slimes found in the Frozen Peninsula. They can produce large chunks of ice in the air that become more common when the slime is agitated.

Slimeology:[]
Ice Slimes use their rock-hard ice spikes to break ice off frozen crops. If it's full, the slime still likes to break open crops either for fun or to keep their spikes sharp.
Rancher Risks:[]
Similar to rock and crystal slimes, they have sharp spikes around their bodies. They can also chill surrounding slimes when agitated, limiting their movement and making them unable to plort.
Plortonomics:[]
Ice plorts are used to cool down fancy dinks without watering them down and to make expensive ice cream. Because of their use by the rich, they are quite valuable and are worth the risk of ranching ice slimes.
Appearance[]
Classic[]
A sky-blue slime that has 6 lighter blue ice spikes on it, one on the forehead, two below the cheeks, two on the top near the back, and one at the bottom near the back.
"Obsidian" Secret Style[]
The slime is dark purple with a glowing orange core that fades to red at the edge of the orange before fading to the body colour.

Tips[]
- if you want these slimes to be happy and keeping producing plorts as normal, it's advisable to keep them in cold areas such as the Grotto.

- if you make an Ice Aurora Bismuth largo, you get the "Ice, Ice, Baby!" achievement
- When sunlight strikes through an ice slime's spikes, some water droplets are visible.
